Watch the Opening to the 'Ghostbusters' Video Game

On June 16th, the new Ghostbusters video game arrives for the PlayStation 2 and 3, Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox, and PC. It's the first time all the original Ghostbusters have contributed to the franchise since the 1987 sequel.

There's so much public goodwill for this property that I'm sure the involvement of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis in the next Ghostbusters movie will help put that one over the hump, even if they aren't the leads, but until then, we've at least got this little reminder.

Here's the opening of the game, featuring Doctors Venkman, Spengler, and Stantz:

Not to be a giant dork, but....

"Excuse me (pushes up glasses) the abysssmal Ghostbusters 2 was released in 1989."
