Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 12:30PM McG vs. Michael Bay: Size Matters
This might be the best movie-related quote of the year. A few months ago,
Michael Bay accused
Terminator Salvation director
McG of ripping off
Transformers, saying the idea for giant robots came from his franchise first. That's not true, of course, as Terminator introduced the concept if not the concept art 25 years ago.

A minor war of words has started between the two directors, and McG has now fired a shot that ought to shut Bay up once and for all. It's withering.
In the new issue of Men/Style (via
Cinematical), McG addresses his rival by saying, "Michael Bay has a big cock. But I'd like to believe mine is bigger. If he's up for it, we can both reveal ourselves on the Spartacus steps at Universal and put the question to rest."
Oooooohhhhh, snap!
It sounds to me like McG gets it, while Bay is busy trying seven-letter combinations for another vanity plate. It was extremely silly to accuse a man directing the fourth movie in a franchise to steal from its seasonal competition in an effort to somehow take advantage of its stranglehold on the giant robot market.
McG was joking, but you wonder how seriously Michael Bay would take it. It's not like he downplays his machismo.

What? Didn't you hear that Bay was at the Spartacus steps trying not to get smacked in the face by his own member before you wrote this?
Bahahahahaha, that's epic. I'm a fan.
Terminator.. INFERIOR!!
Transformers.. SUPERIOR!!
