New 'Terminator' Ads Showcase Special Effects

I'm willing to give Terminator Salvation a lot of rope. After all, it's tough to knock the original, the sequel is among the top three or four sequels ever made, and part three...well, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It ended appropriately enough. But this is a new beginning, and while I was initially down on McG directing the beginning of the new trilogy (which will now be at least the first two movies), I can't find fault with anything I've seen from Camp Skynet. The cast is pitch perfect, the trailers rule, and now there are new TV spots with never-before-seen effects shots. So for the first time, we're seeing the completely realized version of the visuals. Take a look for yourself, with these three new ads: Terminator Salvation hits theaters on May 21st.
