Surprise: Chris Noth Wants More 'Sex'
Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 11:48PM
Chris Noth has signed up for the Sex and the City sequel, and he's robbing New Line blind on this deal: Variety reports he'll receive seven figures for his time.

Mr. Big is a boring, one-dimensional character and frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if he just recites old dialogue from the third or fourth season of the show. Seriously, who'd know the difference?
The character has to return since he's now married to Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), and if he wasn't hanging around this time, it would sure make that last movie seem even more pointless. That's assuming it wasn't pointless already.
The sequel will shoot this September and will come out on May 28, 2010, and because it was such a huge hit for New Line, they're going to pull out all the stops for part two. As for what you can expect, a source told MSNBC earlier this month, "Big will be tempted by a younger colleague. It’s a juicy role for whoever they wind up casting," hinting that allegations of cheating will put their marriage to the test.
And then, Charlotte, Samantha, and the other one will come through for Carrie in the end.
