Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 5:30PM Ralph Fiennes In Talks for 'Clash of the Titans'
My Dutch isn't what it should be, but according to Hollywood.blog.nl, Ralph Fiennes and Sharon
Stone are in talks to play Hades and Hera in the upcoming Clash of the Titans remake. Variety -
which thankfully isn't in Dutch - confirms the Fiennes talks, which actually have been circulating in the UK for
about a week.

We already know a few casting details for the Louis Leterrier update: Sam Worthington as Perseus, Bond Girl Gemma
Arterton as Hot Girl in a Toga, plus Casino Royale villain Mads Mikkelsen, and Alexa Davalos. Liam Neeson is
also rumored for the role of Zeus.
The Sharon Stone thing, frankly, would be ideal casting if instead of Hera we were talking about Medusa. Who would be better in that role? But right now at least, that's
only a big headline in the Netherlands.
As for Ralph Fiennes, there just aren't many actors any better than this guy. From Amon Geothe to a trio of great
roles in 2008, Fiennes can do just about anything, and do it convincingly. For Clash of the Titans,
Voldemort would play the lord of the underworld, so that's basically just different makeup, isn't it?
The Titans remake will be in heaters on March 26, 2010.
