New International Trailer for 'G.I. Joe'

There's a new international trailer for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, with French subtitles, or if you prefer, Freedom subtitles. We evaluated all the summer movies earlier today to rank the best of the bunch and sadly, this didn't make the cut. It's got a few things going for it - cool-looking stunts, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Cobra, eye candy - but I just can't get over Stephen Sommers directing this. Two words: Track record. Van Helsing, Deep Rising, and the Mummy movies just doesn't cut it. But maybe, like Transformers, the spectacle will be enough. I do think it will suffer from comparisons to Transformers, particularly being released just six weeks later. Here's la publicité française. Go Joe on August 7th.

Okay, Ive been dogging this moving for quite some time and I still think I'm not going to like it but the kid in me who played with GI JOES excessively and watched the cartoon, read the comics I suddenly can't wait. Snake Eyes vs. Storm Shadow!!!!!!!
