Gosling, Williams Activate Indie Flick Wonder Twin Powers

You've got to hand it to Michelle Williams. I certainly didn't think we'd see much of her after Dawson's Creek, such is the track record of actors on shows like that. Was she Dawson or Creek? I can never recall...

But Williams has shown that she's an extremely capable and daring actor, one who is not consumed by having her name on the marquee. She'd much rather do interesting work.

Ditto Ryan Gosling, who even made Fracture a pretty good watch a couple of years back. Now they're together on an indie drama called Blue Valentine, which is filming this spring in New York and Pennsylvania.

The description is pretty scant; basically, they're a married couple going through problems and recall better days. The last time we saw that was Revolutionary Road, and I have very few good things to say about that. But Gosling and Williams are both indescribably believable on screen, so let's see what they come up with.
