Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 6:34AM 'Beyond a Reasonable Doubt' Trailer Leaves Doubts
A reporter (Jesse Metcalfe) tries to prove that a District Attorney (Michael Douglas) has been manipulating circumstantial evidence for years to get convictions. He confides in the Assistant D.A. - who also happens to be his girlfriend (Amber Tamblyn) - that he'll set up Douglas by creating a chain of evidence that leads to himself in a phony murder.

So, OK, Beyond a Reasonable Doubt is trying to make a statement about the fragile nature of our criminal justice system and how it can be abused, and that's fine. But I fear it might try to handle a twist ending without the proper safety equipment, and we all know how ugly that can be.
Take a look at the new trailer and see if you have a different take:

Beyond a Reasonable Doubt will be in theaters this September. It's a remake of a 1956 film directed by the legendary Fritz Lang, who was not the bartender on The Love Boat, but should have been.

it was like a preview from 1980, where they just give you the entire story in 90 seconds format
