Biel Says Leaked Nude Scenes Hurt 'Powder Blue'

It was announced recently that Powder Blue would not make a go of it in theaters, despite the fact that Jessica Biel appears topless in the film. You'd just figure that'd be an incentive. But instead, pervs the world over can check out Biel's best striptastic moments online, and the full movie will be released on DVD on May 26th. And Biel says that the all-too-predictable internet availability of her nude scenes are the primary reason Powder Blue won't be released theatrically. She tells Gatecrasher, "I'm bothered when scenes leak. It's disappointing how people take your work, put it on the chopping block, rip it apart and judge it. I'm like,' Maybe you should just see the movie.'" Like, the whole movie? Because really, I think we're only interested in a couple of scenes. Look, I sat through all of Stealth and Home of the Brave; I think I've earned a pass here. But Biel laments that the rampant availability of bits and pieces of Powder Blue has shoved it in the direct-to-DVD category. "You always take that risk, that (your film) might not go anywhere. It's rare, but it does happen," Biel says. "It's terrible." Terrible? Maybe she hasn't seen the parts of the movie I've seen.
