Ben Stiller Reveals Possible 'Zoolander 2' Plot

People sure did love that Zoolander, but I'm not sure they want a sequel. I think it has more to do with Ben Stiller making Night at the Museum movies than anything else. Need I remind you of Tropic Thunder? Maybe he can continue to play both sides, and he's certainly going to try with Zoolander 2.

We know that Blue Steel will return, but what kind of absurd story will Stiller and company come up with? Appearing on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross (via JoBlo), Stiller said, "Over the years we've had a couple of different scripts, and it's just trying to find the right thing. I definitely want to do it, so we're just trying to figure it out."
"We were thinking about the idea that possibly Derek gets hired to be a personal model for an Arab Sheikh and he finds out models are being turned into oil or something," explained Stiller. "Sort of a Soylent Green sort of a plot."
Again, if it can live in the Tropic Thunder world and not the Meet the Fockers world, then I'd rather see a Zoolander sequel than a lot of the ones we're forced to endure every year. I can imagine it will be loaded with cameos, and I love the concept of models being ground into oil somehow.
I still wish this would have happened about five years ago, though.
