Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 11:25PM Bradley Cooper Is the New Faceman for 'The A-Team'
Could it be that the upcoming A-Team movie might be worth doing after all? I was less stoked about a John Singleton-Ice Cube version, but when Smokin' Joe Carnahan came aboard to direct I thought that was an interesting pitch. Then a week or so we heard that Common will most likely play B.A. Baracus, and now, there's a Face.

Bradley Cooper was asked by IESB if he was excited about playing the role, which had been muy secret until that point. A surprised Cooper asked in response, "That's out already?"
Cooper is like a catfish at the bottom of a dam right now, just sitting there with his mouth open gobbling up any role that passes by. He's got the sequel to this summer's comedy The Hangover on the way, plus next year's romcom bonanza, Valentine's Day, as well as the persistent rumor that he'll play The Green Lantern, which he denies.

,/p>Still, all of those roles have come up in just the past two months; I can only imagine how in demand he'll be following the release of The Hangover.
As for A-Team, Cooper didn't add much but his confirmation, allowing only, "Its Joe Carnahan's. It's very interesting. It'll be cool. He'll make a great movie out of it.” So we're two down, two to go. I'd pick Bruce Willis for both Murdock and Hannibal if I could, but probably Hannibal. For Murdock, I think Bill Hader from SNL is an inspired choice, but I'm just speculating here.
