Monday, May 18, 2009 at 7:50AM Three Gloriously Campy Posters for Horror Flick 'Humpty Dumpty'
I'm thinking they ought to reserve a spot in the So Bad It's Good category for Humpty Dumpty. After all, the official description reads, "A half-human, half-alien creature embarks on a murderous rampage after his alien mother is abused by two rednecks in the Deep South." That's got all the classic markings of a So Bad It's Good entry, don't you think?

Oh, and to top it off, Humpty Dumpty is directed by David R. Ellis, who is not only the guy behind Final Destination 2 and this summer's 3-D Final Destination flick, but he also shouted action when Samuel L. Jackson uttered the greatest line in cinema in Snakes on a Plane.
Some new posters have been unveiled at the film's MySpace page, and they don't disappoint. On the Bad/Good scale, of course.

There's no release date yet, but it looks like sometime next year for this one, which is smart because the last half of this year is loaded with movies about half-human, half-alien creatures whose mother is abused by rednecks. You want to make sure you spread those out.

In other news, two hunters from Alabama discovered the "real" Humpty Dumpty and are now storing it in an industrial freezer in their backyard...
That would be an excellent viral campaign.
