Bradley Cooper Denies 'A-Team' Rumors

Just a couple of days ago, we shared with you a story originally posted by IESB, in which Bradley Cooper from the upcoming comedy The Hangover briefly discussed the role of Face in the new A-Team movie. Cooper seemed surprised that someone would have been able to connect him to the role, although he thought director Joe Carnahan would do a good job with it. Now, however, Cooper says that his comments were taken out of context.

Sitting down with CHUD, Cooper denies having any involvement in The A-Team, and says he hasn't even been approached for the role.

"A guy came up to me and asked about the character Faceman in The A-Team. I said 'Oh, that's out there already?', but my point was that news about the film is out there. Literally that people knew about Carnahan and the remake, that's it. I haven't read a script or met Joe Carnahan."

Well, that's slightly disappointing, because Cooper would actually do a good job with it. Maybe it will still happen, but it clearly hasn't yet. Casting is key for The A-Team; Carnahan can go either way as a director, and I'm sure this will be loaded with action, but if he's got a good cast it could really be worthwhile.
