Friday, May 22, 2009 at 1:09PM 'Hangover' Poster: Where the Hell is Tyson's Tiger?
I'll tell you this much: The Hangover is the funniest movie I've seen in a couple of years. As a good friend of mine said, it's unapologetic comedy, meaning that, yes it's offensive at times, but there's no other way to make this movie work. So director Todd Phillips just lines up home run swings with a really good cast - Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and especially Zach Galifianakis - and doesn't worry about the consequences.
One of the best things in the film is the cameo by Mike Tyson, which has already become kind of a signature moment of the trailers and TV ads. So now, happily, here's the official Mike Tyson character poster from The Hangover.

I have a feeling The Hangover will do great business throughout June, making that sequel they're talking about an idea that makes a ton of sense.

I saw it at a free screening here in Houston. Quite simply the funniest comedy to come out of the studio system since WEDDING CRASHERS-- and probably funnier than that. My audience went crazy for it!
Looks great colin I heard you and holmberg talking about it on the sickness. I'm definitely gonna check it out
Hmmm... funnier than Tropic Thunder?
I applaud the film for being "unapologetic" as you put it, but is there more to it than "hey we got stinking drunk and look at all the crazy shit that happened?" Though I can understand why people may find the concept funny (unlike something like, say, Dance Flick), it's just not a premise that appeals to me at all.
MRPigg,
I completely agree with you when I see promos. I hope there is a lot more to it cause I'd sure like to look forward to seeing it.
Any chance someone knows how to get hold of this Tyson poster for purchase? It's my fave of all the Hangover one-sheets and I'd like to get it! Thanks
