Friday, May 22, 2009 at 5:20AM Week in Review: Cannes, 'Sherlock,' 'New Moon'
This week had plenty of activity, foreign and domestic. You can't overlook the
Cannes Film Festival, which provides us kind of an early look at some movies that could make noise
at awards season, or, in some cases, movies that just make a lot of noise. So far, the two top
stories on the French Riviera are Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and Lars von
Trier's Antichrist, and we'll hip you to both of those movies if you're not already.

Elsewhere, there have been some developments on the Ghostbusters 3 and Twilight
fronts, and a new trailer has premiered for Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes, which I think is
supposed to be the same character you're thinking of, though that would be very hard to prove based
on the facts before us.

Shouldn't that be "New Moon gets an official poster"?
Yes. Please forgive me; it was 5am.
