A Few 'New Moon' Production Photos

Entertainment Weekly got its hands on a few on-set photos from New Moon, which I've been asked to call The Twilight Saga: New Moon for purposes of...I dunno, pomposity? Anyway, we've seen some stuff of the actors walking around the Vancouver set, but nothing reflective of the scenes in the film itself. Not until now.

As you know if you've read the book, there's less Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) this time around, opening the door for Jacob (Taylor Lautner) to move in on Bella (Kristen Stewart). But you can't write Edward out of the second movie, of course, so director Chris Weitz came up with a way to include him without sidetracking the story.

"I don't want him too present," Weitz tells the magazine, "so his apparition will be a subtle, flitting effect — clearly a reflection of Bella's will and desire to see him."

Take a look at the latest New Moon pictures:

The second film in the Twilight series will be in theaters on November 20th.

I love the book of Twilight but, the movie didn't really appeal to me. For the second book though, I think it may be the other way around. Anyway, I 'm really excited to see the movie and see if like the book or the movie of New Moon better.
