A second trailer for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen hit theaters this weekend, and I think I saw it with Night at the Museum, although last week's bad movies didn't distinguish themselves, so I can't be sure about that.

The new trailer features a couple scenes that haven't shown up before - and what's with the Robert Langdon symbology stuff? - and of course, it's jam packed with some of the greatest visual effects out there. What's giving me the most cause for concern is the Bumblebee car radio gimmick. It was cool the first time, but if it's a major theme in the new one, I think it will get old in a hurry.
There have been plenty of comparisons between this film and Terminator, but I think they're meant to be entirely different. You're supposed to be more intellectually caught up in Terminator and this is...well, Michael Bay. That's why the first Transformers worked. Just shut off your brain and look without watching. Yes, very freaky. Very hard to follow towards the end but still impressive looking.
