New Images from 'The Book of Eli'

From The Nation's Newspaper, USA Today, comes a new series of images from The Book of Eli. It's the first movie by The Hughes Brothers in quite a while, and it's got Denzel Washington, who's one of the better guarantees above the title that we've ever seen. The movie's a post-apocalyptic journey, and although that time frame is getting a little stale, it's got Denzel and Gary Oldman, so it's in a much better situation than some movies that happen after civilization is on the mat. Also, if post-apocalyptic eye candy is needed: Mila Kunis. Denzel is a solitary man protecting a book - presumably one checked out of the library by a guy named Eli - that can help save mankind. The irony is, Denzel's got to kill a lot of what's left of mankind to keep the book safe. Here are the new pictures, which we hope will lead to a trailer sooner than later: The Book of Eli comes out on January 15th.
