Jeremy Piven may or may not be able to translate small screen success into big screen stardom. I don't think his Speed the Plow departure on Broadway made him any friends, and it does seem he's let some things go to his head.

But The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard looks pretty damn funny, so maybe this is the one that turns everything in his favor. Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are behind this one, and Piven fronts a big, big cast that I think will work well together, even if a lot of them appear to be fairly minor roles - Craig Robinson, Ken Jeong, Ed Helms, Charles Napier, Ving Rhames, James Brolin, Alan Thicke, Tony Hale, Rob Riggle, and David Koechner.
Piven plays Don Ready, who is hired by a used car dealership to make their Fourth of July sale a success. But things get out of hand. Take a look at the first trailer:
