'Inglourious Basterds' Poster with Brad Pitt

Here's the first character poster from Inglourious Basterds, the new Quentin Tarantino WWII movie that promises to be pretty goddamned blody. After all, we are talking about a group soldiers who are not just hunting Nazis, but Nazi scalps. Yeah, tasty. QT has put together a cast that certainly raises some eyebrows. In addtion to Brad Pitt and Diane Kruger, who might be in this movie no matter who wrote and directed it, the particular eccentricites of QT have brought horror director Eli Roth, Mike Myers, B.J. Novak from The Office, and Samm Levine from Freaks and Geeks into the mix. Not exactly The Dirty Dozen. Pitt is appropriately featured on this poster, which premiered at Ain't It Cool News this weekend. Dig that battle scar... Basterds will more or less wrap up summer when it hits theaters on August 21st.
