'G.I. Joe' Clip from the MTV Movie Awards

I don't expect much out of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Certainly with as many characters as we'll meet, the story can't be too involved or it's just going to be a giant mess. So when they talk about dumb fun, this is probably the sort of thing they mean. That doesn't mean it will just be dumb without the fun, but I'm not exactly feeling it's going to be the best movie I see all summer. Maybe Stephen Sommers can find a way to make everything work. It looks like there will be tons of action and plenty of effects. But there's got to be more life to it than that. Here's a new clip, which will air as part of the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, or as it's been called this year, the Twilight Awards. I don't think it's 45 straight seconds from the movie, or at least I hope not, because the pace is way too fast if that's the case. But it features an attack on the Eiffel Tower and Sienna Miller, which is a pretty good combo for an action flick. G.I. Joe show up on August 7th.
