Here's another character poster from Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds. We've already seen ones featuring Brad Pitt and Eli Roth, best known as the director of Hostel. Now we're getting a look at Diane Kruger, who plays Bridget von Hammersmark in the the WWII action flick.

One of the real strengths of Tarantino's writing is how well he crafts female characters. It's no coincidence that the two best characters in Uma Thurman's career came from QT, and he always spends loads of time with women in his movies, with the exception of Reservoir Dogs.
Von Hammersmark is a German actress who spies for the Allies during the war, so she plays a vital role in tracking down the Nazis for the scalp-hunting Jewish American soldiers led by Pitt. Even cooler than her character poster are the phony movie posters over at Tarantino.info that showcase some of von Hammersmark's more popular movies. Check 'em out:


Inglourious Basterds debuts at Cannes in a few days, and it will be released in theaters this August.
