New 'H2' Poster Shows Signs of Life

Rob Zombie's H2 has sped through pre-production and production, and that's a good thing since it will be released at the end of August and wasn't even filming until March of this year.

I'd be lying if I said I thought this will be a great horror movie, but I'd also be lyin if I said it didn't hold some interest for me. The Zombie remake of the first Halloween was more intriguing because of the backstory he created, although by the time the events we're so familiar with had to unfold, it had devolved into a pretty stupid slasher movie.

Can this be different? Well, its no longer bound to follow the original storyline, not that there was ever much of one in the sequels from the first series, anyway. But I would like to see where Rob Zombie thinks this needs to go from here.

There's a new poster for H2, which makes me believe they may have ditched that silly abbreviated name altogether.

I've written about this before, but H2 and the fourth Final Destination movie are coming out on the same day (August 28th). Who blinks first? I don't think there's any real chance both movies hold to opening against one another. That's just stupid.

I've never been closer to leaving a theatre during a film than when I saw Rob Zombie's Halloween. I can't believe they seriously wanted a sequel to that piece of garbage.
