Monday, June 1, 2009 at 3:55PM 'Transformers' Clip: On the Run from Decepticons
Admittedly, it's hard to accept that Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox could evade a Decepticon if they were running up a set of stairs, but you can't really get caught up in that or the entire Transformers souffle would collapse in a pretty big hurry.

In a new clip that debuted at last night's MTV Whatever Kids Think is Popular Awards of Shia and Megan on the run. As I've said a million times: How about those effects? Transformers really is putting all the other blockbusters to shame.
Take a look at the extended clip:

It's probably going to be the top movie of the summer, if not the year. But bad reviews have hindered some summer movies so far, so if it's really bad, maybe it won't reach the $300 million-plus I'm projecting. I still think that opening weekend will be super enormo.

Michael Bay seems to have borrowed from Cloverfield, offering us just glimpses of the robots in this scene. It's very effective, because the viewer sees just enough to wonder what they saw. And then it's gone...
Yummy.
I dunno, I don't like the fact that the y are supposed to be running away from so many Decepticons. In the first movie the Decepticons weren't out to kill Sam and Mikaela, well, at least not until the downtown battle scene but then they made it believable.
I'll see it though.
Yeah 2 humans in the middle of the desert dont stand a chance running from 1 robot, let alone a pack of them. But it is a turn your brain off and eat your popcorn movie.
