Megan Fox is No Fan of Stereotypical Middle America

I hate to keep picking on Megan Fox, I really do, but she just can't keep her mouth shut. Sometimes the quotes are quirky, sometimes they're the kinds of things you'd expect a girl in her early 20s to say without thinking, and sometimes they're just dumb. This is in category three. Talking to Total Film, the lovely star of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was asked how she would stop Megatron. Her response (via Worst Previews) was to "make a deal with him...and instead of the entire planet, can you just take out all of the white trash, hillbilly, anti-gay, super bible-beating people in Middle America?" That's right, because the best way to combat intolerance is with...intolerance. Sure, she's joking or slightly venting or whatever, but when you're in the mass appeal game, you should make some effort to appeal to the masses. The only reason I mention it - aside from the chance to publish another picture of an extremely photogenic young actress - is that over the weekend, Shia LaBeouf played to that same group of people:

"I don't know of anybody that shoots action like Michael Bay. Nobody shoots women like Michael Bay. He is shameless about it. And the world wants that. Middle America wants the shameless, exploitive, escapism film. That's what they want. They want big, bad, sexy and fast."

Clearly, somebody didn't read her talking points memo. Embrace the middle, Megan. I hate to be the kind of guy who would say something like just sit there and look hot, but honestly, maybe she should just sit there and look hot.

This is all the media's fault really. They keep asking her all those pesky questions and a girl can only give so many canned replies. She's already said that she doesn't see the need to go flaunting that she has a brain like that Scarlett Johansson woman. Instead she will flaunt her body at as many cameras that are ready to snap a picture despite not wanting to be viewed as some tawdry little sex kitten. Her youthful inexperience yields forth in much of what she says but hey she's hot so who cares, right? What she has yet to realize is that her own careless words can take down her career as fast as her looks have given rise to it. Damn media and their pesky, pesky questions.

Wow.. Yeah too bad she can't repect everyones opinion even if they are ignorant, ignorance to one person can easily be another person's beliefs and religion. Whom am I to question another person when you really can't prove them right or wrong.
