Friday, June 12, 2009 at 7:03PM Trailer - Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams in 'The Time Traveler's Wife'
It's not really a super power, but in The Time Traveler's Wife, Eric Bana can be-bop from one time to another. He's afflicted with a genetic mutation that involuntarily moves him from then to now and in the future. It's shaky science, sure, but it could be a good premise for the movies, which, as you know, is the home of shaky science.

Eric Bana is the guy who goes through time and his wife is Rachel McAdams. Not that you'd want to fool around if McAdams was waiting at home, but involuntary time travel? What a convenient excuse, right? "No, I didn't have to work late...I was in 1951." Sure you were.
The film has been delayed for a while; it won't come out until August 14th, which is almost two years after it was filmed. Here's the new trailer, which I have to admit, seems a bit femmy. Most guys will be more inclined to watch preseason football that weekend.

the book is so gutwrentchingly sad, i've a feeling i'll watch a pre-season game over going to see this, too. besides, i have the film in my head... i don't want to see another person's version.
Just to reply to the person Quin Browne, yes you are right but for those of us who have not heard of the book let alone read it this is why such films are created!
