Dark Red Band Trailer for 'World's Greatest Dad'

You may be too old or too young to remember it, but once, many years ago, Robin Williams was uncontrollably funny. Was it the drugs? No, but they sure helped. I must admit he's found more of a happy medium lately and I heard positive things about his recent stand-up tour, but the days of the unpredictable comedy man child are long gone.

Williams is also a pretty good actor, although his opportunities to showcase it have been limited. And I think I'd be OK with it if for every Old Dogs he makes (watch the trailer) he countered it with something like World's Greatest Dad.
Dad is a new dark comedy by Bobcat Goldthwait, and he has loads of experience directing, actually. He ran the Jimmy Kimmel show for a few years, plus he did some Man Show and Chappelle's Show episodes. Just in time for Father's Day, the new Red Band trailer has found its way online for the Sundance hit, so mind your ears.
A limited release awaits World's Greatest Dad beginning this August 21st.

Nice. I really liked "Sleeping Dogs Lie" from Bobcat.
I agree. Sleeping Dogs Lie was very good. Is that the right name though?
How can you mention how accomplished a director Bobcat is and not give Shakes the Clown a shoutout?
It's doubly entertaining now just to laugh at a filthy Spongebob.
