Goldblum Speaks Out on Obama's Fly Swatting

Perhaps you've seen the video this week of President Obama forever silencing an impertinent housefly. It happened during a CNBC interview, and Obama even pointed out the fallen fly to the network's camera man, who zoomed in for a close-up.

Now, the other side of this thorny issue is speaking out. From Thursday's edition of The Colbert Report, here is the star of the 1986 film, The Fly, Jeff Goldblum:

I never say this but here it is, "ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I seriously could not catch my breath for ages I was laughing so hard as I watched this. And I was getting very strange looks from my friends.

Jeff Goldblum is pretty much the best actor in existance...aand that fly did not deserve to die so young!
