Business is about to pick up again in Hollywood. Not this weekend, that would
be silly. But on Wednesday, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen blows the doors off of
summer 2009. By this point last year, we already had two movies racing toward $300 million with
Iron Man and Indy Jones. This year, the high earner is Star Trek at around
$235 million...at least for another three weeks.

While we await the arrival of what should be the biggest hit of the year, let's retrace our steps
