Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 12:18AM Britney Spears, Time Machines, World War II
If I'm not mistaken, the last time I paid attention to
Britney Spears, she was trying to solve the Zodiac Killer case. She watched the movie, understood it (we're
guessing), and began sleuthin', y'all!

But as far as acting, there hasn't been anything to talk about vis a vis the former Federline since
the cameo on How I Met Your Mother, and even then, could we really call it acting? According
to
OnTheFlix, Spears has been offered a period piece, which would mark
her first film role since Crossroads. And who among us hasn't been thirsting for that
moment?
Who knows whether or not it's true - I'm batting cleanup for Team False - but the movie is reportedly
The Yellow Star of Sophia and Eton, and the Slave 4 U would be playing Sophia LaMont, who
builds a time machine, goes back to the 40s, falls in love with a Jewish prisoner in a
concentration camp, and tries to bring him back...to the future!
(OK, that's two sarcastic exclamation points in one story. I'll stop now.)
I'll let you work out how unfair a universe would be if Britney Spears was the first person to
build a time machine, even in fiction. But I am reminded of one of my all-time favorite celebrity quotes, which came courtesy of the short-lived KFed/Britney reality show. Discussing the very possibility of time travel, Spears asked her camcorder-wielding husband, "Is that possible? To time track...travel...speed?" You can't make up that kind of stupid.
Has anybody heard of this story? I went to this website
called Google, and another one named after the guy who sang "White Christmas" and all I can find
are other links to this rumor.
So, we'll consider it bogus for now. After all, that's one of the worst goddamned Holocaust movie
premises imaginable, and it only gets worse with Britney Spears. Still, I did get a kick out of how completely tacky it would be.

Can't be any worse than the pile of excrement called "Transformers".
I am a big Britney fan to say the least, and I think she looks great! I prefer her hair longer, but she still looks good.
