Stan Lee's 'Iron Man 2' Cameo Revealed
Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 10:42PM
There have been a few interesting casting choices for Iron Man 2. Forget about the three-headed hydra of villainy comprised of Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke, and Scarlett Johansson, and for the moment, don't even consider the decision to dump Terrence Howard as Rhodey and replace him with Don Cheadle.

While those are all worthy of the many headlines they've received, consider, for a moment, the smaller roles: Garry Shandling as a senator, the hot-as-blazes geek girl Olivia Munn as a player to be named later, and now Stan Lee. Yes, Stan the Man is a common sight in these Marvel movies; he appeared as Hugh Hefner in the first movie. But now he's throwing on the suspenders and portraying Larry King.
If it's possible, Lee is actually older than King, though he's infinitely cooler (or didn't you see Larry fawning over the Jonas Brothers?). It might even be a healthier role than Stan's normal walk-on. Nuke The Fridge reports that according to their sources, Lee will question Tony Stark (RJD) about his new "black" Iron Man suit.
We'll see how long the cameo is; they're usually a line or two. I'd be surprised if they gave Stan too much face time. But it'll get a cheap pop from the crowd like his cameos always do.

Just wondering, was there a Stan Lee cameo in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine"? It's the only big Marvel film in a while that I couldn't remember whether he was in or not.
I don't remember seeing him, now that you mention it.
Stan Lee as Larry King would have been very funny...
...if it were a surprise cameo that I hadn't heard about months earlier.
Damned internet.
Catch the Stan cameos here...

only reason stan was not in wolverine is because he was one of the very few characters stan did not create, but he did xmen. Wolverine was added to the xmen later on. regardless i seen him and hugh talking and shaking hands, even hugh said when he's around im a ghost lol People worship stan and he overall seems like a guy any of us could walk up to and shake his hand
wolverine was still a marvel film and he should have been there but oh well
