Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 6:20PM Red Band Trailer for the Blood-Soaked 'Grace'
When it played at Sundance, people collapsed. Maybe it was the altitude, maybe it was the overpowering weight of self-importance in Park City, or maybe, just maybe, Grace really is that creepy.

The movie has played a few festivals since, including our own Phoenix Film Festival, and on the strength of a trailer that very clearly purports some kind of zombie baby and bottle feeding on blood is a-OK in my book.
Here's the latest Red Band trailer for Grace, which stars Eli Roth fave Jordan Ladd, meaning the sight of movie blood has very little impact on her these days.
Still waiting for an official release date for Grace, although it's keeping the festival love train going this weekend in Seattle. Check it out...if you dare...

I take it you didn't catch this one when it was at the Phx Film Festival, Colin? The screening I went to had a lot of walkouts... not because it was so intense or gory or anything, just because it was just an odd, uneven flick (with several moments that literally made audiences shout out "What!?")
I still can't make up my mind about the movie. On one hand it's a great premise and it captures a lot of the post-partum (sp?) and menopausal conflicts in the two female leads well, but the horror elements are absolutely ridiculous.
The last shot in the movie is definitely something to see...
mdamien13,
Grace has killed at Sundance, SXSW, AFI Dallas, SF, FrightFest, Gerardmer and a half dozen more, by all accounts, including every major horror website, as well as Variety, USA today, Nikki Finke, and many many more. It's so sad that the horror community has haters like you that can't even get behind a movie this good.
Shame on you.
