Cool 'Public Enemies' Featurette with Bale and Depp

Christian Bale still has time to save his summer. Sure, Terminator Salvation won't make the kind of money people thought it would and it's not as good as people hoped it would be and Bale, in particular, gives a rather wooden performance in it, but he's got another potential blockbuster on the way in about a month.

Bale stars opposite Johnny Depp in Public Enemies, the new film by Michael Mann, one of the most underrated American directors going. He's a perfect fit for this material, a gangster movie about a real gangster, John Dillinger. Depp plays the notorious Dillinger while Bale portrays real life G-man Melvin Purvis.

Here's a terrific behind-the-scenes featurette of one of the movies this summer that has the most promise, even if it has the fewest robots:

Public Enemies arrives on July 1st. Kudos to Trailer Addict for the featurette.

It looks too good to be true.
