Trailer - 'The Final Destination'

I was a big fan of Final Destination 2. It's better than the first one, although you have to give the original some credit for the whole premonition idea. Still, the idea felt a little played by the time of the lazy third movie, released three years ago.

We're getting a fourth movie now, in 3-D no less, which has adopted the name The Final Destination. The "The" in the title makes me think it could be the last one, or should be, anyway. There's a new trailer over at MySpace, and I think it could be substituted for any of the other movies in the series.

Honestly, haven't we heard that "Maybe none of us were meant to survive" line before? Sounds familiar. On its own, it's a pretty decent trailer, so let's just hope the kill shots are pretty gruesome in 3-D, like what's in store for that poor unsuspecting girl in the picture above.

The Final Destination opens on August 28th.

It'll totally be the last one. Until someone decides they need to "reboot" it.

*yawn*. I actually really liked the third movie; it felt as if the filmmakers just said "Fuck it, all these guys want anyway are boobs and gore", and it worked for me. Plus Mary Elizabeth Winstead was uber-hotness (still is) back then (where is she now anyways?).

No one's standing out in the cast to me right now, and the glimpses of kills look dumb; the girl drowning in the car wash= super lame.
