Ed Helms Sings "Stu's Song" from 'The Hangover'

Before we snagged our interview with Ed Helms from The Hangover, we moderated a Q & A with Ed and the sneak preview crowd that caught the film in Tempe, Arizona. During that question and answer session, Helms said that the song he plays on the piano in the film was a spur of the moment decision. The trashed hotel suite had a piano in it, and Helms - a gifted musician as any viewer of The Office knows - fooled around with something and director Todd Phillips liked it.

Though there was no plan to have that scene in the movie ahead of time, Helms said, Phillips made room for it, and in a film loaded with great scenes, "Stu's Song" really stands out. Though it does recount the events of The Hangover to that point, I wouldn't really say it's filled with spoilers. Almost everything in it is revealed in the trailers.

I should point out, however, that this is not exactly the version used in the movie. This Red Band video has clips from other scenes in the movie edited into the music for context. Enjoy:
