Jarring Teaser Trailer for Horror Sequel '[Rec] 2'

I have to admit that I'm kind of in the dark on this. I didn't see [Rec], a Spanish film that takes its name from the camcorder approach it uses to photograph the action. From what I've read, it's similar to a first person shooter video game. That film was remade as Quarantine last year...and I didn't see that either.

So now there's [Rec] 2 from directors Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza, which again uses the single camera approach, and the first trailer for the film is an absolute home run. It's a zombie movie or thereabouts, and this one sticks with you.

The first [Rec] comes out on DVD next month, and the sequel will be released in some international markets this fall. Hopefully, reaction to this trailer will force a U.S. release around the same time. Be warned: This is pretty damn intense, and if you don't like zombies or the Cloverfield camera tricks, you're going to hate this.

REC is well old! it came out on DVD so long ago in the UK
