Check Out Sam Worthington in 'Clash of the Titans'

He emerged as the breakout star of Terminator Salvation and from my perspective, Sam Worthington was really the reason to see the movie. Get used to that name, because at least for the next few years, we're going to see an awful lot of Worthington in major tentpole movies. He's got Avatar later this year and coming up in 2010, Worthington is Perseus in Louis Leterrier's remake of Clash of the Titans. I'd be a little surprised that this one has attracted such a good cast - Liam Neeson, Gemma Arterton, and Ralph Fiennes join Worthington - but this is a Legendary/Warner Bros. movie, and that's been a pretty potent combo recently. Entertainment Weekly recently showcased a couple new pics of Worthington in Clash of the Titans, and I think you can tell immediately that this one's a little darker and more aggressive than its predecessor. The original Titans did have some cool Ray Harryhausen stuff, but all in all, it was pretty silly. Especially if you watch it now. So a remake is fine by me; it's lot like there's a huge legacy for this one to topple. Leterrier's remake will be in theaters on March 26th.

He's the best that happended hollywood theese past years. Cant wait for this.

Is it me, or does the monster look like the same one as in cloverfield?
