Images from 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' Video Game

We don't know any details about the next Batman movie. Christopher Nolan will almost certainly return, Christian Bale acknowledges that he signed for the third film. But that's it. The past year was loaded with rumors about casting and villains, but none of them - not one of them - is true at this point. So while we wait for a return to Gotham City on the big screen, we do have the upcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum video game, which features The Joker, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn. No Black Mask, though, which is depressing, since he's one of the better Batvillains, and he's tied directly to Arkham. Perhaps another time. Rocksteady and Eidos will release the game on August 25th, a change from its original release date of this Tuesday, June 9th. Epic Battle Axe has a couple dozen images from Arkham Asylum, and this looks like it could a really good game. I like the detail in these shots, although I can't say I love what they've done with The Joker. Well they ARE cut scenes, it's just that the cutscenes are rendered an shown using the in-game engine instead of pre-rendered CGI. If you wonder what the gameplay looks like, a quick stop to game trailers or youtube will reward you with videos. What is this, the internet or something?

Amazing game. I never knew that Batman Asylum will be as great as this. I'm interested getting my own copy probably after I'm done grinding for aion kinah since I'm gonna need this one badly to loosen up the tension from playing Aion Online.
