Calvin Klein Ad? No, It's the Poster for 'Brothers'

There's an artful new poster for Brothers, the Jim Sheridan-helmed remake of a recent European film that stars Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Natalie Portman. The trailer debuted a week ago, and for the first time in a few years, we saw the Tobey Maguire that we always hoped would be here eventually. He always displayed talent, but has never seemed this forceful before.

Collectively, you've got three of our better sub-30 actors in a pretty dramatic love triangle directed by Sheridan, who's pretty reliable when he's working with great talent. In case you can't guess it from the poster, Portman's torn between two lovers, acting like a fool...except the two men happen to be brothers. Still, that's not as strange as Morgan Freeman apparently getting married to his step-granddaughter. Yeah.

Anyway, here's the poster, by way of Cinematical.

This one's coming out in the heart of awards season, hitting theaters on December 4th.

Tobey Maguire is a few years older than 30.

Yes, because their age is the most important piece of information here? :)
I didn't know about this before, but now that I do I'm quietly looking forward to this. I love Portman and Gyllenhaal and I wouldn't mind seeing a strong performance from Maguire. Anyone happens to know the title of the original European movie?

It was also called Brothers, or Brødre. Susanne Bier (Things We Lost in the Fire) directed it.
