Lance Armstrong Riding Into 'Dodgeball Sequel'?

As of this writing, Lance Armstrong trails in the Tour de France by only eight seconds. Not bad for a 37-year-old guy who hasn't ridden in that race in a few years. But the seven-time champ may be returning to another old stomping ground: Yahoo! reports that Ben Stiller is pitching Armstrong to sign up for a sequel to Dodgeball.

If you'll recall, Armstrong had a cameo in Dodgeball, encouraging Vince Vaughn to return to the tournament. It's not great news that Stiller is the one pushing for Armstrong's return, since Stiller was the worst thing about the first movie.

Armstrong Tweeted the news on Thursday: "Ben and I in the bus pre-race. In discussions re: the Dodgeball sequel. Could be huge."

Earlier in the Tour, Armstrong blamed Stiller for making him late for a sign-in session, although he didn't elaborate on whether or not that had anything to do with the movie. Yahoo! claims that the sequel will have more cycling references and that other riders are being eyed for roles, too, although given the tone of the piece, it reads more like a joke.

We know already that Stiller is working on a Zoolander sequel, so I guess given the money Dodgeball made, there's a certain amount of commercial sense that revisiting this franchise makes. But it's pretty far down on the list of sequels I'd like to see Hollywood pursue.

Actually, Stiller should be doing the cameos. He's great at that. Carrying a whole movie? Not so great.

Yeah, Stiller was great in the episode of Extras that he did. Dodgeball? Not so much. Oh and he was great in the Royal Tennebaums. Was he the lead in that?? Oh right, he wasnt. I think Lengthy J has a good point.

I think that Dodgeball is the funniest comedy ever, so I think you should make a sequel. If you do, I expect it will be alot funnier than the first one.

I have decided that I do not think the dodgeball sequel should have any new people in because then it will not be as good so I think it would be better just to have all the same people. so please please make a sequel!
