It's fun to kill Natsies! In a new series of commercials for Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious
Basterds, the attention is squarely on the more comedic and jovial side of Brad Pitt's smirking southern killin' machine.

Before you check out the new ads, however, click on the image above to see the latest Basterds poster featuring Eli Roth, who I still think is a strange choice to play the tough guy, called "The Bear Jew" in the movie.
The movie is a strange co-distribution between The Weinstein Company and Universal, two companies you normally would think would be on opposite sites of the map. But we just learned maybe a week ago that Weinstein has enough money to pimp this movie pretty aggressively, something the company hasn't done reliably since Bob and Harvey left Miramax.

Basterds is now a month away; check it out in theaters on August 21st.

Strange? It's actually a perfect choice on paper. Who better than a horror-movie making Jew to play a baseball bat swinging Jew.
I'm just basing it on his lack of acting experience and his inability to mine good performances out of the actors he directs.
