Kick Ass 'Kick-Ass' Comic Con Poster

Even though Comic Con is one of the most eagerly anticipated and most attended media/movie/entertainment events of the year, there's still only a very small fraction of people interested in what goes on there that actually get to attend. So I think we'll see more and more stuff like this for the people who can't make it out there every year.

Earlier in the week, we showed off some very cool Book of Eli posters given a whole new Comic Con look, and now, Matthew Vaughn's adaptation of Kick-Ass gets a similar treatment, thanks to artist John Romita. The poster comes to us courtesy of Ain't It Cool News.

The poster works for this movie because, after all, it is based on a comic book series by Mark Millar. Now...whether you're going or not, and there's a very good chance you're not, obviously, you might be interested to see what Kick-Ass has up its sleeve. It will have a panel on Thursday and some footage will be shown. Just a hunch: I think it'll probably go over pretty well.

We'll give you an update late next week.
