Second Trailer for Kate Beckinsale's 'Whiteout'

There's a new trailer for Whiteout, and even though it's put together pretty well, just like the teaser that premiered maybe two months ago, I can't shake the feeling that it will be awful. That's a terrible way to go into it, but don't blame me: Snowbound movies are never easy to execute, no matter how good the script is, and it's been delayed for over a year. Those are hard hurdles to leap.

There is good news, though. The graphic novel won some awards, and if you're any kind of red-blooded male, how could you not be interested in a movie with Kate Beckinsale, if only on a voyeuristic level? So let's say those two things almost balance the fact that the studio didn't have any confidence in it for this long. The nail in the coffin just might be director Dominic Sena, whose best film is probably Kalifornia, which is over 15 years old. Since then, well...if you don't know, I won't ruin your day.

So, just knowing what we know, this one's operating from a deficit. But it's still a cool trailer.
