Friday, July 24, 2009 at 5:25AM Week in Review - Comic Con Galore, 'The Hangover,' Seth Rogen Whines
This is one of the most active weeks for headlines that I can remember. That's a testament to Comic Con, where the entertainment world has converged for a few days to show off its upcoming wares - movies, video games, TV shows, and oh yeah, comic books.

It's the 40th anniversary of Comic Con in San Diego, and this year is big. Not huge, exactly, but big. James Cameron's Avatar is the real headline, but we've gotten a few wonderful stories for movies that aren't brimming with so much fan anticipation, which has resulted in a lot of trailers and posters.
It's a good way to catch up on the first 40% of Comic Con action:
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland trailer
New posters for Prince of Persia with Jake Gyllenhaal
Sam Raimi directing the World of Warcraft Movie
Exclusive: The Hurt Locker expanding into hundreds of theaters this weekend
Nic Cage as the villain in The Green Hornet? When will the bad news stop?
Speaking of The Green Hornet: Seth Rogen is acting like a self-important douchebag
The Hangover is now the top R-rated comedy of all time
First Freddy Krueger poster for A Nightmare on Elm Street remake
Denzel in the new Book of Eli trailer
Dark Shadows will be the next Burton/Depp collaboration
