Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 7:10AM 'Funny People' Red Band Trailer a Step Up
It's hard to believe that Funny People will really only be the third Judd Apatow movie. He's written more, he's produced even more than that, but as a director, it's 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, and now Funny People with Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann, and Eric Bana.

Then there are the supporting players, who get a little more involved in the new Red Band trailer. We've seen some viral stuff with Jason Schwartzman that is really good, and he and Jonah Hill will probably swipe a couple of scenes, just the way Apatow planned it.
The Red Band is good all the way around, better than the sissy boy version that's approved for all audiences. I have a much better feeling about it now that I did before. It looked a bit maudlin and full of itself in the past, but I'm much more on board now.

Funny People is only a few weeks away now. It opens on July 31st. I'm telling you, I've got a hunch: Keep your eye on Schwartzman.

You don't have to be Jewish to be in an Apatow movie, but it certainly helps.
I have seen some trailers of this movie and its really funny. It is a full on comedy movie.Adam Sandler is simply amazing.Jason Schwartzman, the music composer of the film, dons the role of a television celebrity on a sham show ‘Yo Teach’. For more details refer Funny People Movie
