Hilarious Teaser for Gervais' 'Cemetery Junction'

I watched this teaser a handful of times, and it's still funny. Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant (The Office, Extras) are working together again, this time on a film called Cemetery Junction. The film explores the lives of three men working for a British insurance company in the 1970s. In addition to Ralph Fiennes, featured in the teaser, the cast also features Emily Watson and Matthew Goode. The movie will be released in the UK on April 7th, and a U.S. release date will probably follow soon thereafter. But please, check out the teaser; it's a great way to spend the next minute of your life. How good has Ralph Fiennes been over his whole career, really, but especially in the past couple of years? He's taken supporting roles and knocked them all out of the park. It probably has something to do with him being a fantastic actor.

Gervais is just damn funny and it's very much because he's not trying to be over the top with his humor. A good bit of the funny comes from his facial expressions, the subtlety of them where you just know something funny is going to happen before he says anything. His delivery in stand-up routines is much the same way, there's nothing boisterously gregarious it's all very smooth. Like the best sleight of hand, you don't quite know how he does it but he does it damn good.
