'Final Destination' Goes for the 4-D Experience
Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 6:11PM
As if the added third dimension isn't enough, the upcoming horror sequel The Final Destination will be available with the rumbling seats of D-Box Technologies, essentially making it the first film to emulate a full sensory immersion, if I may be bold enough to use such a phrase.

D-Box has equipped a few theaters with its Motion Code technology a few times this year, with Fast & Furious, Terminator Salvation and Harry Potter. But this will be the first time, apparently ever, that stuff jumping out of the screen and into your Roy Orbison glasses will be combined with seats that are wired for action.
But don't take my word for it; here's the official press release:

"This is the first time D-BOX's immersive technology will be combined with 3-D technology, offering moviegoers the opportunity to enjoy an unparalleled cinematic experience where they can watch the action in three dimensions and live the extraordinary sensations of onscreen action. D-BOX's motion-enhanced seating provide an unmatched, realistic and immersive experience, utilizing refined subtle motion effects that work in perfect sync with the onscreen action."You can check out the movie beginning August 28th at the Mann Chinese, The UltraStar Cinemas in Surprise, AZ, the Mall of America, Galaxy Highland Theaters in Austin, plus the Galaxy Cannery in Las Vegas and the UltraStar in Apple Valley, CA. If you're in Toronto, swing by the Cineplex Odeon Queensway.

I wonder how it would work with a XXX flick! :)
It would take another Bob Guccione and a next Caligula type film with lots of a-list cast to make any use of this technology for XXX possible.
I have found a website from where you can watch & download Final Destination 2009 trailer http://www.video.deshibinodon.com//list.php?q=The+Final+Destination+2009+trailer+&sa.x=2&sa.y=19&filter=on
