Clooney in Jason Reitman's 'Up in the Air' Poster

There's a new poster for Up in the Air, the new Jason Reitman film starring George Clooney. It's already received some Oscar talk, for whatever that's worth in August, but the director of Juno and Clooney are definitely on voters' short lists sight unseen, so there's probably more to it than if two other people were behind this project. The movie is based on the book by Walter Kim about a corporate sleazo who might have to give up his jet-setting life of nearly ten million frequent flyer miles for a coveted promotion just as he meets the on-the-go woman of his dreams. A good cast backs up Clooney: Vera Farmiga, Jason Bateman, Danny McBride, and Anna Kendrick, whose work I really enjoyed in the indie flick Rocket Science. Slashfilm gets the credit for unearthing this poster. If you'll be at the Toronto Film Festival, that'll mark your first opportunity to see Up in the Air, and then it will be released in the U.S. later in the fall.
