Two-Fisted Poster for 'Saw VI'

You can always count on the Saw movies to come up with some macabre posters and I think this one for Saw VI might be my favorite one in the series. That has no bearing on the film, of course, but as a movie poster goes, I rather like it. For years, they've gone with the white background and the desaturated colors of skin, blood, and usually some sort of torture implement. Or at least that's been the M.O. on the body part posters. Some character posters have been done with black. This one is more a play on the first film's poster, which was a lopped off hand and forearm, and now that we're up to six digits, they've thrown in the second hand to start over again. Poster courtesy of Shock Till You Drop We hear there's going to be eight or nine of these Saw movies in all, but really, you have to wonder why they'd stop making them at all if they're still profitable. Maybe they'll just eventually run out of limbs to count on. Saw VI opens on the 23rd of October.
