Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 10:14PM Trailer - Michael Moore's 'Capitalism: A Love Story'
There are people, lots and lots of people, who hate Michael Moore. I'd put the number at roughly 50% of American voters, maybe less last November. He's a firebrand and he embraces it.

Is his style controversial, confrontational? Sure, but less than his reputation would suggest. Some would point to the Charlton Heston interview from Bowling for Columbine as evidence of his unscrupulous methods, but I'd say that piece of footage is no more damning than the recent spate of town hall footage we've seen. In fact, I'd say it's downright cordial compared to a lot of that stuff.
His new film, Capitalism: A Love Story tackles the current economic crisis, and of course, it's right up Moore's alley. Roger & Me was a groundbreaking documentary about a very similar subject: Corporate greed giving the business to the honest working stiff. That's true of Sicko, as well. Here's the new trailer:
While we're on the subject, if you want to see a fascinating documentary on corporate greed, I can't recommend Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room nearly enough. For a movie about the economic climate, you've got to watch last year's IOUSA. As for Capitalism, it will be in theaters on September 23rd.

Enron is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen...
Looking really forward to this!!
I completely agree with your statement about the town hall meetings footage as well...
Michael Moore and his work are like a nice obedient middle aged man compared to the sick shit we see at that town hall stuff...
